As well as reptiles like the loggerhead turtle, Kefalonia has a plethora of mammals to discover. From the wild horses of Mt Ainos to the rare and elusive Mediterranean monk seal. There are also foxes and hares, goats and sheep, pine martens and weasels and other smaller mammals. The seas, especially the East coast, has a lot of marine mammals such as dolphins and porpoises.

Near the mountain “Agia Dynati”, some goats, rabbits and hares have golden and silver teeth, due to an accumulation of certain minerals in the soil. So, I will be looking for the rapper Goldie or Jaws from the old Bond movies with Roger Moore.
